The standard for Chinese teaching in the full-time compulsory education (experimental version) has put forward the basic idea:"initiate autonomous, cooperating and exploring learning actively. Asking questions is the manifestation of students in class. It can influence the changes of learning ways of students. This research, through improvement of teaching behavior to promote the way of asking, aims giving the right of asking in class to students in order to develop the innovative character of students.This research adopts literature study, questionnaire, observation in class, interview method and classes analysis. On the basis of the teaching method, I research the way of asking questions in Chinese class. The research reveals the problems of asking ways in Chinese class include:Teacher’s talking all the time bruises the asking way of students energetically. The standard answers make their views narrow. Teachers’attitudes and words suggest that they should not ask questions. In class teacher’s leading role is not good for students. If teacher spends too much time asking questions, it can make the time for students so limited. Bad question from teacher fails to set a good example. Teacher’s answer can’t make the students think deeply. Students don’t like being asked so adult questions. Teachers don’t make the situation for asking questions. Teachers don’t teach them how to ask questions. Teachers’ control make the students ask questions restricted. Students don’t know the importance of asking questions.On the basis of writer’s research, through the analysis of teaching, the author puts forward a proposal of improving the students when it comes to asking questions in class:Teachers should teach concisely and make the students think deeply. Teacher should encourage the students to make the individual reading. Teacher should take active attitude and words to promote the interaction between teacher and students or students and students. Teacher should control the quantity of questions, raise the quality of questions and ask questions effectively. Teacher should create a good situation for asking, teach them how to ask, construct a democratic atmosphere and know the value of asking.
