Peer conflict resolution strategies means the means and ways to realize their own aims or compete others.The researches on peer conflict resolution strategies of middle school students are few.And few studies have been conducted from both school level and individual level. This dissertation tries to analyze predictor factors of peer conflict resolution strategies of middle school students,both school and individual level through General linear model(GLM) and hierarchical liner modeling(HLM). And explore the relationship of Interpersonal communication, self-efficacy and peer conflict resolution strategies,the mediating effect of self-efficacy.Provide the theory basis for improving peer conflict resolution strategies from individual and school level.The use of questionnaire include the questionnaire of peer conflict resolution strategies、 the questionnaire of interpersonal communication、 the questionnaire of self-efficacy.Questionnaires data were collected from4200students at31middle school from Zhejiang、 Shanghai and Jiangxi. Data processing through General linear model(GLM) and hierarchical liner modeling(HLM).The use of statistical software include SPSS16.0,AMOS4.0,HLM6.0.The main results obtained are as follows: (1)The questionnaire of peer conflict resolution strategies,The questionnaire of Interpersonal communication,The questionnaire of self-efficacy with higher reliability and validity.(2)On the individual level, Peer Conflict Resolution Strategies is predicted significantly by Gender, grade, parents cultural level, parents upbringing, learning achievement, truancy situation, family structure is not significant.There is a significant correlation between interpersonal communication and peer conflict resolution strategies,self-efficacy and peer conflict resolution strategies.(3)On the school leve,multilevel results show that peer conflict resolution strategies is predicted significantly by school regional, school properties.Student-staff ratio is not significant.(4)Random coefficient model results show that the slope of interpersonal communication and peer conflict resolution strategies exist the school of the differences.Slope that peer conflict resolution strategies is predicted by interpersonal communication is moderated by factors of school level,such as school regional, school properties.(5)Random coefficient model results show that the slope of self-efficacy and peer conflict resolution strategies exist the school of the differences.Slope that peer conflict resolution strategies is predicted by self-efficacy is moderated by factors of school level,such as school regional, school properties.(6)Multiple regression analysis results show that self-efficacy play the intermediary role between interpersonal communication and peer conflict resolution Strategies.
