| Peer conflict is a frequent occurrence in primary school daily life,and the level of conflict resolution strategy directly affects the quality of pupils’ peer relationship and the status of social adaptation.One of the important social communication skills in peer interaction is the reasonable solution to peer conflict.Summary of the previous study showed that:Social culture,media,family,school environment,personality characteristics and the degree of intimacy between the two sides of the conflict can affect the level of children’s conflict resolution strategy.Parental attachment is the bond to maintain family members’ emotions,and self-esteem is an important psychological component in the personality self regulatory structure.Therefore,This study is to explore the influence of parental attachment and self-esteem on peer conflict resolution strategies from the factors that affect conflict resolution.And on the basis of the questionnaire survey,further interviews with students,teachers,parents,and put forward reasonable suggestions.This study selected 460 high grade pupils in XX primary school in Nanchang city as the research object,using the children’s interpersonal conflict resolution strategy scale,Parent-child Attachment Questionnaire(IPPA Simple version),self esteem scale(SES)was investigated.Selection of 13 students and their parents,their headteacher in charge of the interview after screening the questionnaire score and ask the students,the headteacher,using the self compiled interview outline.The results are as follows:(1)the use of the conflict resolution strategies of the high grade pupils is different in gender and age.(2)peer conflict resolution strategies and parent-child attachment and self-esteem are associated.In conflict situations,the high attachment level of children’s self-esteem will be higher and tend to take a turn,problem solving and other positive strategies;low levels of parental attachment of children,self-esteem level is lower,easier to choose introversion,extroversion and negative solutions.(3)attachment can be directly predicted peer conflict resolution strategy for helpseeking,problem solving,introverted strategy.At the same time,parent-child attachment is also affected by the adjustment of self-esteem and indirect impact of help seeking and problem solving strategies.Self esteem can directly predict help seeking,problem solving,and avoidance strategies.(4)interview results well verify the results of a questionnaire survey,it provides a sufficient basis for the causes of the students’ peer conflict and the cultivation of solution strategy.and put forward the corresponding educational countermeasures: for the students,to learn to take the initiative to apologize,try to avoid the use of negative solutions,learn empathy,and reasonable use assistance strategy;for the school,it should pay more attention to the cultivation of self-esteem and peer conflict resolution strategies,and establish a sound psychological support system.;for the family,parents should correctly understand the conflict of value and strengthen the relationship between parents and children. |
