The instruction of ideological and moral course is the main way for junior middle school students to get the ideological and political education, and the ideological and moral teachers are the main educators of the ideological and political education for the junior middle school students.The professional quality of the ideological and moral teachers not only affect the development of our entire curriculum reform, but also affect if we can cultivate more high qualified students that the society needs. Therefore, in the context of people’s emphasis on the teachers’professional development, we should pay more attention to the ideological and moral teachers’ professional development.There are many factors that affect the female ideological and moral teachers’ professional development. In this paper, I chose the individual’s interpersonal interaction as the case. In order to reveal the laws of some female ideological and moral teachers’ professional development of rural junior school, I discuss the influences of the individual’s interpersonal interaction to the professional development from the perspective of symbolic interaction theory.The interpersonal interaction of rural junior school female teachers has the characters of richness and diversity. Before analyzing how the individual’s interpersonal interaction affects professional development, we should divide the types of the interpersonal interaction, and then make a deep understanding of the different types on this basis. In this study, I divided the individual interpersonal interaction into two categories:interpersonal interaction in working and interpersonal interaction in life. The interpersonal interaction in working includes the interaction between teachers and students, the interaction among teachers in the same field, the interaction among teachers in the same office, the interaction among the teachers and school leaders, the interaction among the teachers and experts and the interaction with other schools’counterparts. As for the interpersonal interaction in life, there are also some categories which include the interpersonal interaction in the family, such as the interaction between teachers and their spouse, parents and children, as well as the interaction with other relatives and friends. At the same time, based on the integrated use of participant observation and interviews, I showed the different categories of cases, different aspects of human interaction, which have an overall understanding of cases in a variety of social interaction.From the perspective of symbolic interaction theory, we can understand the relation between the interpersonal interaction and the individual professional development in many different aspects. There are five aspects:interactive awareness, self-concept, role understanding, common understanding and situational creation. These aspects have their own significance for the individual professional development:the interactive awareness is the original motivation; the self-concept is the fundamental dynamic; the role understanding is the basic premise; the common understanding is the key factor; and the situational creation is the necessary condition.After analysing the relation between the interpersonal interaction and the individual professional development, I further offered some strategies:Subjectively,it requires the female teachers to strengthen the awareness of participation in interpersonal interaction, and thus stimulate the enthusiasm of the professional development. Objectively,it needs the supports of interpersonal situations from inside the junior middle school in the hope of tamping the foundation of female teachers’ professional development. What’s more,it needs the supports of school and education authorities to enrich the individual professional development from the expansion of interpersonal interaction, and also needs the family members’and friends’ support. In short, we must strive to make the individuals, schools, educational administrative departments, and the family be together to promote the individual’s professional development.
