Building a moderately prosperous society in our country entered acritical period of development and stability in Xinjiang majoropportunities and challenges facing the new situation, in May2010, theXinjiang central work conference held in Beijing, made leaps and boundsof the major decisions and plans in Xinjiang, the introduction of a seriesof preferential policies to support the construction and development inXinjiang, Xinjiang ski tourism will usher in major construction projects,large opening, and development of the historic opportunity. At present,Xinjiang ski tourism market theory is relatively scarce, the need to buildnew marketing theory framework for the development of tourism in Xinjiangsnow inject new vitality. This issue will be management, marketing, basedon the combination of consumer science, physical science and otherdisciplines, according to its own unique ski areas in Xinjiangcharacteristics of research, and constantly enrich and improve theXinjiang ski tourism market by leaps and bounds of the theoretical basis.The results are as follows:1. Xinjiang is located in the center of the Eurasian continent,surrounded by Altai, Pamir, Karakoram, Kunlun, Altun and other mountainsaround, the average winter temperature reached-14.5degrees Celsius, theaverage number of days to175.3days of snow, skiing up to155days, thesnow depth at2,400meters above1.5m, and the snow quality is good, withthe development of ski tourism resources.2. to reach in Xinjiang over the standard S-class ski resort is only23, and the Northeast there is a large gap. Xinjiang, with a snow skiconditions showing the characteristics of the two extremes, there are fourmore than2000, low-end ski in the snow with less. Ski instructor teamis also showing a serious polarization, small ski almost no professionalski instructor. Xinjiang small resort charges are low, with a price advantage.3. Xinjiang main ski traffic is convenient, as far as48km from therailway station, the last10km; farthest from the airport60km5kmrecently; part of the ski buses in urban areas can be directly seen skiingin Xinjiang field with a good location. Xinjiang ski cateringaccommodation with a certain capacity to receive, such as food receivedmore than800people/day are two ski resorts, lodging reception capacityof300people/day or more, there are three ski resorts.4. the tourism industry is a key industry in Xinjiang, Xinjiangtourism on the number received was increasing steadily year by year trend,growth rate overall was increasing. Although the2009Urumqi "75" eventsleading to decline in tourist arrivals next year, but soon in2010, growthin2011, there were two peaks. Xinjiang received inbound tourists in2010reached1.0102million people, there is a rapid growth over the previousyear, the overall Shanghai market has steadily increased foreign travelsituation.5. Xinjiang ski tourism source markets, the domestic level toeconomically developed areas should be the main provinces, two sourcemarkets in the eastern coastal areas, mainly the Northwest and otherregions, three source markets should focus on training to attract domesticskiers. Should also focus on strengthening the Xinjiang local ski touristmarket development, and expand the influence of Xinjiang snow and icetravel. Overseas source markets should be based on the CIS and otherCentral Asian countries, mainly.6. the development of ski tourism in Xinjiang should follow amarket-oriented, prominent features, sustainable development, targetedperipheral integration of the principles of development, rich type of skitourism in Xinjiang, to make up for some lack of tourism resources, tourismorganizing and planning all kinds of snow and ice events, Silk Road and mining history, culture and content of ethnic customs, and strive to fightthe domestic western Xinjiang winter tourist hot spots.7. Xinjiang ski tourism development strategy should focus on: overallplanning and management, improve the operating system; build Xinjiang skibrand, establish winter tourism image; rely on characteristics ofcultural resources in Xinjiang, the implementation of leapfrogdevelopment; perfect winter tourism product development, strengthentourism investment; optimize the tourism service system, promote thedevelopment of winter tourism industry.
