The Politics and Moral Education in the Senior High School in our country has been adjusted timeand again to meet the actual demand of social development.In the1980s,we had a similar syllabus whichkept in line with time,featured the characteristics of the subject and stayed in harmony with the socialreform trend.Meanwhile,the syllabus reflected the actual existence of society and fully carried out thepreliminary policy at the beginning phase of socialism practice of the Communist Party.In the1990s the syllabus centered on the current political system of our country, mainly focused onthe education of the knowledge range and consciousness of politics, in an effort to seek out a morereasonable structure, textbook and its contents as well as the format.The Politics and Moral Education textbook of the Senior High School in the new century has tried toimplemented the theory of scientific development paying attention to the real practice of students and thereal cases discussion. The chapters of the textbook shows the cultural life,combines theory with practiceand functions as the foreground in shaping the healthy character and developing proper way of life,whichin all promote the all-round development of students,and in consequence the all-round development of thesocialist construction with Chinese characteristics.Hence, the Politics and Moral Education in Senior High School has kept changing, emphasizing theorganization of theory, combining theory with practice, highlighting the effectiveness of charactereducation.On the other hand, the combination of traditional teaching approach with the modernmulti-media has constantly enhanced their awareness of the time and the subject as well.This project intends to divide the transformation process of the Politics and Moral Education in SeniorHigh School into three sections.Section One mainly deals with the changes which took place in Politicsand Moral Education at the beginning of the opening and reform policy as well as in the1980s.SectionTwo deals with the changes in the1990s,while Section Three tries to reveal the changes existing inpresent-day education of moral and politics.The project tries to analyze the changes,causes of the changesand the educational effect of the three different phases.Based on its over-all analysis the project tries to make a general assessment of the whole Politics and Moral Educational system to conclude that progress inthe education of this subject is noticeable,but at the same time problems exist.The proper attitude weshould take,in my opinion is that we should confirm the progress and also try to enhance it and meanwhiletake practical measures to improve the underlying issues so as to make a new breakthrough in the Politicsand Moral Education field in relation to the Senior High School.
