Under the influence of the continuous enrollment in the higher education system reform and universities, the disadvantaged college groups continue to highlight the problem in a transitional period of China. The problem has a significant impact for the development and harmony of colleges and universities, and a harmonious society building. Traditional ideas and methods of aid for the disadvantaged groups can not meet the needs of them, so the need to introduce new professional ideas and methods of aid for them.Departure from the professional perspective of the school casework, this paper is divided into six chapters to study the aid of the disadvantaged college groups. The first chapter is an introduction to the source and significance of the analysis of the problem to sort out the domestic and foreign research on the disadvantaged groups of college students and described the study design and innovation of this study. The second chapter is the theoretical basis for the definition of the core concepts and related theories of discourse, preparing for the following specific practice. The third chapter is analyzing the status of the disadvantaged college groups and their general problems. And the type of the disadvantaged college groups are divided into psychological disadvantaged groups, academic disadvantaged groups, employment of disadvantaged groups, and economically disadvantaged groups. The formation of the disadvantaged college groups is from themselves, families, schools and society. The fourth chapter describes the general process and techniques of school casework aid for the disadvantaged groups. School casework intervention process can be divided into the following stages:accept the case and build relationships, collect data and assess problems, set goals and work plan to carry out the service, finish the case and evaluate. The fifth chapter is the specific practical operation. We use the concepts and methods, process and techniques of the school casework to aid different types of the disadvantaged college groups. The final chapter analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of school casework aid for the disadvantaged college groups. Although there are some limitations to the use of school casework to aid the disadvantaged college groups, school casework aid for the disadvantaged college groups has applicability and effectiveness, it is worth developing and promoting.
