Research On Education Management Information Resources Integration In Colleges And Universities

With the accelerating process of higher education information technology, the information systems which are using for teaching, scientific research and management are increasingly rich in colleges and universities. However, due to the university information system construction with long time, the lack of unified planning and other reasons, often resulting in the business sector according to their own needed to build its own information management system. It’s led to the emergence of the so-called "islands of information" between the various systems, so that departments can not be shared with the educational foundation information. To solve this problem, this paper presents the integrated colleges education resource for accessing to data consistency and validity.With full analysis of the colleges education and the characteristics of resource data, we summarized the status of data integration. Then this paper presents the network of educational technology standards as the colleges education resources integration standards, and briefly describes the standard system. We choose to use middle-ware technology as a colleges education resource data integration technology by comparative analysis of the current types of data integration technology. Further more, we choose to use the Hibernate ORM framework as a specific data integration tool by comparative analysis of several means of achieving the middle-ware technology.In this paper, a college education and management information systems as an example the data source, elaborated on education resource base data integration implementation process. First of all, select the database system and database modeling tool for this study, and data integration of the target database structure design and visual modeling. Followed by a detailed study of the process of data integration need to address key issues, and propose specific solutions. The integrated database gives the architecture of data integration software, and elaborated on its data access layer, business layer, data integration, data query service layer to achieve the principles and processes. For clear description of the principle of colleges education resources integration and showing the convenience brought about by the Hibernate framework for data manipulation, this paper focuses on the integration of databases with heterogeneous data sources, data access layer, the integration of the business layer. Finally, this study is summarized clearly the future research directions.
