The Study Of Construction Of College Counselor’s Contingent

In the new century, along with China’s socialist market economy’s rapid development, China’s higher education career in reform and opening up and realize the leaping type development, entered the popular stage of development. There are many new challenges of ideological and political education and supervision of undergraduates. College students’work also stepped into a new stage of development. The new period, the new situation, the university’s ideological and political education work is facing new opportunities and challenges. As an instructor in the college students’ ideological and political education of the first line of the university instructor, and increasing attention. Counselors play an important role in teaching and learning in universities and colleges. They are also the backbones, the organizers, the executors and the instructors of the ideological and political education in colleges, who, as a result, play an important role in students’life. Counselors do help a lot for the stabilization and the reforming of the colleges. Construction of counselors is very important to university personnel training. But at present there are many problems on quantity, personnel structure, education training and stability about the construction of university instructor troop.This article is on the basis of my five years work practice and experience, combined with the ideological and political education of during the graduate student learning to explore new period of head teachers’ construction problems. Adopt empirical research method, through the investigation and individual interview, access to information, and vertical and horizontal comparison of the university and the head teachers’ construction issue sufficiently and further study, then make a rational inductive thought. The main research contents are as follows:Part Ⅰ:Overview of College Counselors. First, define the concept of the college counselors; Secondly, made clear their responsibilities; Third, the review of College Counselors establishment and the development process.Part Ⅱ:Strengthening the significance of the building of the college counselors. Systematic analysis of the challenges faced by the college counselors work in the new era, and pointed out that in the current environment to strengthen the significance of the building of the college counselors.Part Ⅲ:the problems of college counselors. Summarizes and analyzes the problems and deficiencies of the college counselors.Part Ⅳ:improvements and countermeasures and ways to improve the construction of college counselors. Clarify the role of counselors on the professionalism of the counselor should have the direction and goals of the instructor team building, career and professional way. Then put forward specific measures to strengthen the construction of college counselors and the establishment of long-term mechanism of sound counselor ranks; and proposed the establishment of counselor team building assessment system, to enhance the overall quality and level of work of the counselors.
