Good attitude is one of the goals of the Ideological and Political Education. Learning attitude is an important part of the human’s attitude system. It’s not only determines how broader a personal development space is in the field of knowledge, but determines what person is going to be. The right study attitude can not only improve human’s learning ability and method, but also create people who have the habit of lift-long learning and academic morality. Therefore, university students as the hope of nation’s development, their learning attitude catch scholars’ attention. The scholars who at home and abroad want to prefect the attitude system of student through making student’s learning attitude prefect, which is considered a good way to foster a prefect person. The United States as a great-power country in higher education is one of the most advanced countries in the world. Thus, the author did lots of researches on learning attitude of university student in practice and theory between American and china by the topic "Comparison and Analysis of Learning Attitude of University Student between China and The United States——Take Zhengzhou university and EWU as examples ". Hoping this paper can contribute to higher education in china.This paper including four parts:The first part:the definition of learning attitude. What is the attitude and learning attitude were described by Chinese and foreign scholars in this part. Besides, there are analyses the significance of the learning attitude for university student from three aspects, which are important role of the learning attitude, the characteristic of the learning attitude, all-round and sustainable development of human. In the ending of this part, the author demonstrates the relationship between learning attitude and learning behavior. Meanwhile, it is the powerful proof for the scientific comparison in the next part.The second part:the similarities and differences of learning attitudes between The United States university students and Chinese university students. The author selected three comparison objects:class, extracurricular, degree paper, which can reflect the learning attitude of university student best. In terms of class, the main idea is comparing and analyzing differences of attendance, participation, exam’s performance and attitude of results between china students and The United States students in the classroom. In terms of extracurricular, we can obtain differences about homework, the ability of independent research, time and psychology of reading between china and USA through questionnaire survey and interview in homework and extracurricular reading. In terms of degree paper, author did many researches on the differences of topic selection, information screening, and reference selection between the two countries. In conclusion, this part is the solid foundation for the next part which is difference analysis.The third part:the reasons of the differences between China and The United Stated. The part involves teacher and university, which have a close relation with students. Because teacher’s teaching style, the foster methods of research skills, question design skill are influence their students directly or indirectly, and hardware, curriculum setting, and evaluation system in university, which bring big or small influence to students’learning attitude. This part contains only two points, but it is the most important part in this paper, because difference analysis can not only show the origin of the difference about learning attitude between the two countries, but provide a good platform to improve quality of higher education in China.The last part is fourth part:the enlightenment for correct learning attitude of Chinese university student. This part has two ideas. The first is the influence of counselors should play an active role in prefect the students’learning attitude; the second is the advantages of university of The United States should be obtained by Chinese university. The former is to encourage counselors help students forming active attitude from details, and pay attention on students’growth direction from macros. The latter shows Chinese universities can absorb advanced experiences of hardware and software from universities of The United Stated. Every job for students should propose "human-oriented" and putting integrated development of students as the final purpose of higher education.
