Because our country region is vast, the development of economy and culture difference is big, the education resources and the lack of very aspect,with both regional differences, and urban and rural difference, especially the difference between urban and rural areas. In the vast rural areas, not only the backward economy and culture, but also the lack of educational resources, in the long-term adverse circulation. In recent years with the national construction harmonious society theory, the development of rural education has been highly valued, and achieved certain results, but the rural art education is still a weak link in education, less specialized research. However, rural culture and education development is the level of education important constituent.Therefore this article attempts to Yueyang rural schools in the compulsory education stage art education as the object, focus and mining to adapt to local conditions of art course resources, and on this basis for further analysis, and explore the rural areas and the transformation of art course resources in the fine arts class is reasonable use, for rural education reform and puts forward some of his own ideas. In the method, try to be the researcher’s position to understand art education; in theory, based on the rural reality to summarize the research results, proposed for art education in rural areas and construction of rural art education proposed new system, new thinking, in order to solve the rural art education problems for reference.
