The university ideological and political theory course is the main channel of college students’ ideological and political education, the main positions, and the practice teaching of ideological and political theory course is the effective ways to improve the teaching effect. The central committee of communist party of China pays high attention to the ideological and political theory courses education teaching work, and achievements. But the ideological and political theory courses education teaching means, methods and validity still have some problems, especially the practice teaching, teaching methods, teaching mode in degree, attention, and so on, need to carry on the summary and make solid progress in further. This article focuses on the problems, the use of documentary research, research methods, through the randomly selected from China university of geosciences (Wuhan) two to four class414students as the samples, to investigate the current ideological and political theory course teaching practice status and effect of China university of geosciences (Wuhan), and introducing other colleges’ beneficial practices, trying to explore an effective ideological and political theory course teaching model, in order to improve the university thought politics theory class teaching practice, and offer reference to improve the ideological and political theory courses education effect. The paper includes four chapters, main contents are as follows:The first chapter is the introduction. It mainly expounds the background and significance of the research topic selection, summarizes the domestic and foreign research present situation, the development trend and existing problems of the present study, introduces writing thoughts, research method and innovations. There has been formed a large amount of research results of the thought politics theory class teaching practice research currently. But it is not formed quite mature experience in organization, implementation scheme evaluation system of the practice teaching of ideological and political theory course. It mostly remains in theoretical and needs further research, so this topic in the research is of practical significance.The second chapter is the meaning and historical development of the ideological and political theory course teaching practice. According to the current academic circles to practice teaching of ideological and political theory course of the study, it makes practice teaching of ideological and political theory course, classroom teaching, and practice teaching of specialized courses for comparison, to definite the meaning of the practice teaching of ideological and political theory course. It expounds the development process of practice teaching of ideological and political theory course of our country, and summarizes the experience and problems of practice teaching.The third chapter analyzes the current situation and problems of practice teaching of ideological and political theory course of China University of Geosciences (Wuhan). This chapter introduces the practice teaching of China University of Geosciences (Wuhan) since2009up to now in detail, and through the analysis of the questionnaire, knows the current status quo of practice teaching of ideological and political theory course. It obtained a preferable effect in the three years. The school administrator leader is responsible for, each department cooperates with each other, and the practice teaching process design is relatively complete, and the practice teaching forms are agile diversity, these can be experience for other university for reference. At the same time, it analyzes the current problems, such as the cognitive degree of students to the practice teaching of ideological and political theory course is uneven, the positive of students’ participation is not strong, the incorporation of practice teaching contents and teaching isn’t enough close, and analyzes the reasons of these problems one by one.The fourth chapter is the way to improve practice teaching of ideological and political theory course effect. Based on the problems, it puts forward the corresponding countermeasures: strengthens the system construction and management of practice teaching of ideological and political theory course, makes leading system of practice teaching perfect, makes management system of practice teaching of ideological and political theory course,which are practical teaching management system and operation mechanism, content specifications, process management system for the integration, to make each link of practice teaching perfect; lay down outline of practice teaching of ideological and political theory course, and closely combining the teaching content, designs task guide, for students to make social investigation, personal practice activities with selected topic reference, and guide students to engage in ideological and political theory course teaching practice activities; does later evaluation work, improves the evaluation system of ideological and political theory course practice teaching, clear object evaluation, optimizes evaluation methods and perfect evaluation rules, correct evaluates students’ practical teaching results. All in all, this article summarizes the experience of ideological and political theory course teaching practice of China University of Geosciences (Wuhan), trying to explore and form a kind of effective model, which can provide useful reference for other universities enhancing the education effect of university thought politics theory class.
