The family give birth to human life, and it’s also the first classroom of love education. Family education has a very important impact for a person’s development,the formed of love thinking and behavior habits. But in recent years,due to the utilitarianism ethos of the society, the family education in China is also cast a serious utilitarian. Coupled with the traditional deep-rooted feudalism "A good scholar will make an official," resulting in the formation of the current social in which everything is decided on the degree, academic competition, employment pressure are over-expansion. Under the guidance of the value orientation of the highly educated, many parents pursuit of high academic qualifications and put the education of knowledge to the top position, but they fail to teach children to know what love is and how to love. From the analysis of the meaning of love and love education, and combined with modern family education,explored problems and the causes of family education.The thesis try to put forward in the family education to build love education again and in order to provide valuable theoretical guidance on the love education practice in our family education. The paper contains the following three parts.Chapter1:This chapter is mainly sort out the content of love and love education, and analyze the relationship of love education and family education.Love has different classification when it’s in different forms or in different cultural backgrounds, the nature of love is "given" and "feedback". The love education is to give the children a real love and teach children what is love, how to love. The love education is the core content of family education, family education is the source of the love education.Chapter2:This chapter explored the problems in the love education and the causes in the contemporary Chinese family education.The family is established based on kinship, the love in family has characteristics of instinctive, spontaneous and blindness.There are four types of modern love education in the family education which are spoiled, cold, laissez faire, authoritarian. And it caused a series of questions such as neglect the needs of the child who as an independent, personal experience instead of rational education, simply preaching instead of the experience of love. The reasons for these problems is not only the negative factors of the traditional family education, but also the factors of modern rationalism and utilitarianism.Chapter3:Love education has a positive impact for the development of physical and mental health. Parents should have a qualitative change from the concept, purpose, and the way to build love education again. First of all, parents should foster a concept of love education. The love education is not only to meet the child’s material needs, but also give them care in spirit. The child is independent, parents must respect their personality. Their growth and development is for themselves not for their parents. Second, parents must establish reasonable purposes for love education. In their opinion it is great successful for children to admit university. In fact, the greatest success in education is to train child health psychology and sound personality, the most basic is the ability of love. Finally, in love education, the parents and the children must flow across each other, the exchange is a prerequisite for understanding.You understand the children, then you can give them true love.And parents should first educate themselves, for their words and deeds have the subtle influence to children, so they should give them a good example. In addition, Love is an experience and created in development, parents should be fearless and let the child grow in experience.
