Consumption is always an everlasting theme for human society.As long as thehumans shall survive there will be consumption.It is not only an economyphenomenon,but also a moral phenomenon.The university students is a specialgroup,be of independent,with new ideas ands and active thoughts.They are the futureof motherland and the hope of nation.Their attitudes toward consumption hasrepresented the new generation youth’s values to a certain extent, may also reflect thevalue orientation tendency of the entire society.This dissertation studies on the ethical consumption of the contemporaryuniversity students.It concluds and analyses the consumption status of thecontemporary university students,consumption characteristic and some badconsumption through literature material questionnaire survey and case interviewmethods.And it also analyses the reasons for ethical consumption problems ofcontemporary university students from social,school,family and themselves these fouraspects. Meanwhile, it explores the countermeasures for the ethical consumptioneducation of the contemporary university students,which seeks to guild theconsumption direction for the contemporary university students correctly and helpthem keep far away from the confusion.Thus, it can form a reasonable attitude towardconsumption and healthy ethical consumption character.This dissertation is divided into three parts altogether:The first part describes the university students’consumption status by the wayof the questionnaire and the case analytic method. It analyses the contemporaryuniversity students’consumption content in both traditional and emerging ways andtheir characteristics.The traditional consumption content mainly researches from thebasic necessities of life while the emerging consumption content mainly begings fromuniversity students’extracurricular life such as the leisure consumption,the humancommunication consumption and network consumption.Therefore, it can present thecharacteristics of contemporary university students based on these consumptioncontent. The second part is about the contemporary university students’ethicalconsumption problems and the cause analysis.It will explore the existing problemsand the caused negative effects of the contemporary university students from ethicsperspective.And it analyses the problems of the contemporary university studentsfrom four aspects,the society, the school, the family as well as themselves.The third part is the education countermeasures of the ethical consumption forthe contemporary university students.Leading the university students on the right wayto moral education,improving the system of high schools’ moral education,changingthe family’s consumption ideas,playing the guider role in society media strengtheningthe university students’consumption moral theory and the practice education,guidingthe university students to build the reasonable consumption moral value,and thuscultivating the healthy characters of university students’moral character.
