The development of the youth symbolizes the future of the motherland.However,in recent years,due to a variety of factors leading to a decline in adolescent physical data,it is worrying.Junior middle school stage is the key period of teenagers’ physical quality development.The physical education system is not only an important part of the system,but also plays an important role in improving students’ physique.However,in the Middle School sports examination results,there are junior high school sports examination function and purpose of education,this has undoubtedly seriously affected the development of junior high school sports.By using the methods of literature review,questionnaire survey and expert interview,this paper explores the current situation of physical education teaching in Lianyungang junior high school under the background of physical education in senior high school entrance examination.(1)Physical education in senior high school entrance examination has made an important contribution to the development of physical education in Lianyungang junior middle school,which is mainly reflected in the guarantee of students’ physical education hours,and the significant improvement of students’ enthusiasm and initiative in participating in physical education.At the same time,there are also some disadvantages,such as the idea of "exam oriented education" still exists,which brings adverse effects;There is a deviation in the cognition of physical education in senior high school entrance examination;Ignoring the personalized needs of students’ all-round development.(2)There are some problems in physical education teaching of junior middle school in Lianyungang City,such as single teaching mode,teaching means and teaching content,poor teaching effect;The difference of students’ physical quality is not considered when teachers prepare for teaching and teach,which leads to the decline of students’ interest in learning;Teachers,students and parents have the wrong idea of "sports first in senior high school entrance examination",which needs to be solved urgently,otherwise it will seriously affect the development of junior middle school physical education in Lianyungang City.(3)The development of physical education in junior middle schools in Lianyungang City should improve the top-level design,clarify the relationship between physical education in senior high school entrance examination and "exam oriented education",optimize the physical education system in senior high school entrance examination,pay attention to the cultivation of teachers’ ethics and professional ability,innovate the main teaching elements,try to explore the physical education classroom teaching under information technology,improve students’ interest,and enhance students’ enthusiasm and initiative,In order to promote the healthy and sustainable development of physical education in Lianyungang junior middle school,we should appropriately increase the construction of sports infrastructure,improve the relevant sports facilities,and improve the utilization rate of school sports resources.
