Although independent Chinese curriculum emerged until late Qing Dynasty, China has a long tradition in Chinese education, and gained rich experience in language teaching. Also in the thousands of years of Chinese education, reading teaching that a lot of Chinese educators put theory argumentations on has been playing an important and a positive role. However, at the beginning of the new century, the dialogue theory came into the field of vision of people, which came from the west along with the connotations of the equality, interaction and so on. Specifically, it guides people to know how to follow the equality, interaction principles. It is the theory that achieves effective communication through the discourse communication. Its introduction and reference provides Chinese language reading teaching reform a new angle of view and thinking space. Today, in the reform of the basic education curriculum, this theory has been accepted by most Chinese language educators and applied in practical teaching of Chinese, which obtains certain results in practice but also there are some problems that need to be resolved. It is inevitable that these problems arise in the initial stage of exploration and practice in Chinese language teaching, as the formation and the development of a new education idea and the localization process need to continue to explore and improve. Therefore, this article, in the dialogue theory perspective, attempts to propose the correct constructive dialogue strategy in the teaching of reading through the study on the relationship of dialogue theory and reading teaching, which can be helpful for the improvement of the Chinese reading teaching efficiency and the formation of the students’Chinese accomplishment.This paper consists of four parts:In the first part, tracing to its source and being back to ancient Chinese language teaching process, it combs demonstration on the reading teaching theory of the ancient Chinese teaching in the traditional reading teaching as well as many Chinese educators. In the second part, it clarifies the necessity of introducing dialogue theory in the new historical period through combing the connotation and development of the dialogue theory. In the third part, it says that the dialogue theory also has an important guiding significance to reading teaching through publishing the demonstration on the relationship between the dialogue theory and the reading teaching, and the relationship between reading teaching and reading teaching.
