How will the school sportsaccidents to a minimum, and the severity of control to the minimum, the light, is thecontemporary university sports is facing an important task. Independent college sportssafety problems although with the general undergraduate course colleges anduniversities have a certain commonality, but also has its own characteristics: as aresult of the independent colleges of the system and the general undergraduate coursecolleges and universities is different, reflects the independent college sports safetyproblems with particularity and complexity.The author through to the Hunan7universities independent institute student andteacher questionnaires and on-the-spot investigation, in order to understand thestudents of independent college sports safety accidents happen around the currentsituation of its occurrence, types, characteristic and reason, put forward a set ofsuitable for Hunan Province universities independent institute sports safetymanagement measures, for this kind of school management departments to bettercarry out physical security measures to provide reference.The results show that:(1) The Hunan province university sports safety issues; field equipment safetyproblems are more serious; sports more lax safety management; safety educationconsciousness is weak; major safety accidents; general safety problems of highfrequency.(2) The Hunan province university sports safety problems with multi-dimensionand complexity, contingency and inevitability.(3) According to the interview and questionnaire investigation, and mathematicalstatistics method that affect Hunan Province universities independent institute sportssecurity are the main factors are:1subjective factors: the lack of safety awareness;lack of security management; teaching method is undeserved; teacher educationstudent discipline is weak. The objective factors: lack of venues and equipment;special funds are not available; regional environment and natural factors. (4) To improve Hunan Province universities independent institute sports safetycountermeasures should be to strengthen safety education, improve the safetyconsciousness; strengthens the school administration, enhance the school seriously;strengthening the teachers’ responsibility management; reasonable arrangement ofcurriculum, improve teaching efficiency; increase the necessary funds, perfect venueequipment.
