The Research On The Current Situation And Countermeasures In The Employment Difficulties In Independent Colleges

With the era of popular education coming in China, the employment situation of college graduates is worsening. Independent college is a bold attempt in the new school model in order to meet the development of high education. According to the survey, there have been more than300independent colleges in China. With more and more graduates leaving school, the employment difficulties in independent colleges has appealed. Whether the graduates can obtain employment or not is directly related to the survival and development of independent colleges. Therefore, it’s extremely important to find out the current status of independent college graduate’employment and analyze the deep reasons behind it. This paper designs a questionnaire in the direction of research topic. The survey is conducted in Huazhong University Science and Technology Wuchang Branch. The questionnaire sets up several problem options about the common problems in employment of independent college graduates. Then I make a statistical analysis on the result of the survey. Through it, I want to find out the reasons behind the problem and put forward the effective countermeasures.Then we are able to find the effective solutions.This paper is divided into three parts:In the first part, I will analyze the current employment status of Independent College graduates:the overall employment status and structural contradictions in employment, a paradoxical relation in employment expectations and the reality of the difficult employment climate, a paradoxical relation in graduates comprehensive quality and the needs of employers.In the third part, I’ll explore the reasons for the employment difficulties in Independent Colleges. The graduates in Independent Colleges not only have the common reasons as other graduates but also have their own particular reasons. So I’ll analyze the problem from these two aspects.In the last part, I’ll put forward some appropriate solutions to resolve the employment difficulties in Independent Colleges. The graduates in Independent Colleges should understand the situation clearly and change their concepts about employment. Our colleges must pay more attention to the problem of employment. And the colleges should also learn more useful experience to create the new ideas in employment problems.
