Structural perspective is the most widely used method of understanding the organization, but it has undergone many changes over time. In the new curriculum reform, the structural method has gradually been neglected. Although we emphasize the shared cooperation and full participation, it does not mean that the reform does not need rules, standards, procedures or hierarchical organization. Without these, people may be at a loss and it will be difficult to assess accountability. Moreover, people are not good at using structural method in practice. Therefore, we need to figure out the true meaning of structural perspective to eliminate people’s misunderstanding and correct the wrong ways of using this method in practice.Based on this, this paper summarized the theory about curriculum reform, curriculum leadership and organizational structure through literature method, in order to master the ins and outs of the structural point of view and grasp its unique quality requirements.Paper is structured as follows:Part1, it introduces the background, significance and study design. Part2, it illustrates the characteristics of the new curriculum reform from structural perspective. Part3, it analyzes the structural leadership problems in the practice of curriculum reform. Part4, it gives some improvement strategies to solve these problems. In a word, this paper wants to show how to use the structural method to lead the curriculum reform properly in the new environment. As the leader of school, he or she has to assume the role of analyst or architect, to analyze the environment of organization and transform it to a strong structure and strategy, to adjust and design flexibly, and to provide the best structure to support curriculum reform.
