As the Chinese traditional virtues, respect is also indispensable to character education. Different character education advocators and research institutions have educational ideas on how to implement the respect character education, but their ultimate goals is the same—enable everyone who receives character education to acquire the respect character. The culture of the respect character can affect the children’s self-cognition. However, the mutual respect between all children and preschool teachers is the direct reference of children’s self-cognition.The study takes American scholar Teresa Henkle Langness’s Full-Circle Learning as the background. In order to know the process of the respect character education implementation, researchers observe the case teacher implement the respect character education by using case studies, and interview the case teacher timely, in addition, researchers analysis the influencing factors of the implementation, and explore the problems and difficulties that the case teacher encountered in the implementation, and then put forward recommendations for further research. In this study, researchers integrate the document analysis, observation, interviews and other methods to study the implementation of the respect character education. Here are the following conclusions:First, in the process of planning the respect character education, the case teacher showed a certain degree of creativity in the character curriculum planning. However, the case teacher’s professional competence of character education has yet to be further enhanced.Second, in the process of implementing the respect character education, the case teacher can plan reasonably character education stages according to the children’ character learning features, she also can use flexibly a variety of teaching strategies according to the children’s specific circumstances. But for the use of some new strategies, she needs more practice.Third, children have a preliminary understanding of the connotation of respect by implementing respect character education, they can use the respect character to require themselves initially, and they can practice the respect character consciously in their lives.Fourth, factors that affect case teacher implement the respect character education as follows:the teacher’s attitude to the character education, the professional preparation and the support and cooperation of the external environment,for instances, the coordination between classroom teachers, the support of curriculum resources, parental support, etc.Fifth, according to the above conclusions, researchers put forward some recommendations for enhancing the effectiveness of preschool teachers implement the respect character education, and the proposal for further research of respect character education. First of all, we must strengthen the training of the preschool teachers’ professional knowledge and ability of implementing the respect character education. Secondly, create a mutual respect and support kindergarten culture to implement the respect character education for preschool teachers. Finally, abound the respect character education’s curriculum resources through various ways.
