With the development of society and economic, Enterprises’modernization has improved continuously. There is an urgent demand for high-skilled talents, whereas graduates of higher vocational education schools are facing difficulties in employment. The most important reason is that the graduates’weak practical ability fails to meet employs’ needs. The practical instruction is an important part of higher vocational education, and it’s an important way to personnel training. To construct a scientific and comprehensive practical teaching system is good for higher vocational colleges’ characteristic teaching and the quality of teaching. Therefore, how to build a Practical Teaching System becomes an important research topic.In this paper, the research is based on the analysis of massive data, applying the approach from the whole to the partial, then puts out the overall frame chart of the system and analyzes each constituent of the practical teaching system. The research tries to build a Practical Teaching System with system theory method on the pragmatism and capacity-based theory. The author carried out the corresponding research in Zhejiang economic Vocational and Technical College, conducted a questionnaire survey to information management major and gained much perception about pros and cons of Practical Teaching System. The author analyzed the reasons and finally put forward some corresponding solutions and proposals.This paper is divided into four parts:The first part is an introduction. Including background and significance of the topics, domestic and international literature reviews, definition, research ideas and methods.The second part is about a theory overview of Practical Teaching system. Firstly, gives the overall framework of the practical teaching system, including the target system, content system, system of resources, management and evaluation system and analyzes each constituent of the practical teaching system. Secondly, describes the characteristics of practical teaching, including the clarity of the teaching objectives, the dynamic of the teaching content, the flexibility of teaching methods, the dual division of the teachers, the open of the training base. Finally, describes the theoretical basis of Practical Teaching System in detail.The third part is Theoretical Construction of Practical Teaching system. Building the theoretical model of the practical teaching system of higher vocational education, analyzing the construction principle:the integrity principle, practical principle, the principle of comprehensive, forward-looking principle.Descriping the systems approach as building methods; and finally describing the build process of the constituent elements.The fourth part is Case Study. On the basis of investigation, analysis the status and the effect of implementation about Information Management major’s practical teaching system of the case school, then analysis the problems of practical teaching system and gives optimization strategies for the school.The fifth part is about Conclusions and Outlook. Summarizing this study and finding the shortcomings existed, clearing the direction of further research.
