In recent years,the rapid development of Vocational Education in China,especially the rapid rise of higher vocational education,which will bring new opportunities to the development of higher vocational nursing education.However,with the change of health concept and medical model in the 21 st Century,the nursing field is extended to clinical nursing and community nursing to health care,which will bring new challenges to the reform of nursing education in higher vocational colleges.Practice teaching is an important part of vocational education is an important way vocational colleges students' applied ability,analytical and problem-solving skills and creative abilities.At present,most higher vocational colleges of nursing is upgraded from the secondary vocational schools in China,although under the strict requirements of national vocational education most institutions nursing practice teaching certain reforms.Some colleges and universities in the practical teaching system reform effective quite good,but there are still many practical teaching institutions,influenced by many factors,there are many problems,even still secondary level teaching,practice teaching quality is not guaranteed can not meet the requirements of social development,quality care for nursing personnel.This research is based on the background of the current teaching practice of nursing professional at home and abroad,taking Jiangxi College of Traditional Chinese Medicine as case.First of all,through consulting the documents and materials,questionnaire investigation,case research,comparative research methods of analysis and lack of the experience of practical teaching system of empirical school,to learn from the experiences and lessons of the nursing professional practice teaching in Higher Vocational Colleges at home and abroad,also refer to the graduates,practice unit,use the feedback unit,put forward put forward the countermeasures and suggestions for optimizing the system of professional nursing practice teaching.This research consists of five parts.The first part is the introduction,including the research background and significance,the domestic and foreign related research situation,research methods and ideas etc.The second part defines the concept of "competence based education","Higher Vocational College","practical teaching" and "practical teaching system",and introduces the theoretical basis of practical teaching.The third part is the empirical research on the teaching system of nursing practice of Jiangxi College of Traditional Chinese Medicine The fourth part is the domestic and foreign higher vocational college nursing professional practice teaching experience introduction.The fifth part is to put forward practical countermeasures and suggestions for the optimization of practical teaching system of nursing in Higher Vocational colleges.
