On Minority Education And Its Nationalization

Yi minority, as one of the55minority groups in china, creates its long history and culture, even invents its own language and character. A lot of ancient books and records written in Yi language are kept in Yi society, which include history literature and classics, as a result, those books become the most important material for Yi educational system research. This dissertation focuses on Yi minority’s history of education and its own unique character. In the end, take one family of three generation for example, the author illustrates how they abandon their own culture and heritage, finally turns into another nationality.
