Education is the foundation of a country while teacher is the key part of education. The well-being of teachers plays an important role in the professional development of them. Well-being of teachers in minority areas affects teachers greatly in terms of teachers’working conditions, professional development, even quality of life. It also produces an effect on the growth of students and the development of schools. Broadly speaking, it even influences on the national education and the entire education system. It is meaningful to enhance the research on the well-being of teachers of Yi minority areas. Based on the research, there were no areas specifically for the well-being of primary school teachers of Yi minority areas. There is also no specialized work, so this is the issue. This study uses questionnaires, interviews, documents and Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture as the sample, collects the status of primary school teachers of Liangshan, analyzes the impact of well-being of teachers, and finally proposes several suggestions for enhancing teachers’sense of well-being. The study comprises four parts. The first part is the introduction. First, it presents the reason for the study, including the research background and a brief analysis of issues. Secondly, it introduces the review of existing researches from domestic to aboard. Finally, it presents the outline of the study and classifies the key concepts, such as well-being, sense of well-being, well-being of teachers and so on.The second part is the investigation. First, it conducts a detailed analysis of samples in terms of seven basic conditions. Secondly, it analyzes the results and reasons of the teachers’well-being questionnaires, which including:the overall experience of teachers’ well-being status; the cognitive level of teachers’ well-being status; the experience of teachers’ well-being status. The result shows that:the well-being of teachers of primary schools in Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture is not optimistic. The third part is the analysis of the status. The reasons causing the low level of the well-being of teachers of Liangshan is being analyzed, which including teachers, schools, families, social and other subjective and objective factors, especially the subjective factor of teachers.The fourth part is the analysis of the study findings and strategies for enhancing the well-being of teachers of primary schools in Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture in terms of teacher individuals, families, schools, government and society. In order to promote the well-being of teachers, we have to:(1) bring teachers themselves into play as the main body;(2) bring schools into play as the normal system;(3) bring teachers’ families into play as the continuous support;(4) bring local government into play as the security support.
