In the process of development of human education history, Chinese education is very important from beginning to end. Chinese education mainly works through teaching. Chinese teaching spread, create human culture spirit and construct the spiritual home of the human subject. Reading teaching is the important part of Chinese teaching. Because literary works penetrates a culture essence and contain culture, teachers and students both pay more attention to literary works in the reading teaching.The new Chinese course standards put forward the importance of reading clearly and give guides to Chinese reading teaching from the level of theory. The new curriculum standards and a large number of theoretical guidance appeared, but Chinese teaching still has lots of problems in practice,such as reading teaching can’t adjust to expert opinions and can’t use the excellent teachers’teaching methods. Some Chinese teachers get confused. Especially when they face the literary works teaching they don’t know how to teach literary works effectively. In the reform of Chinese education, they try their best to make the classes lively but the classes ignore improving the students’ interest in reading, students’cultivation of Chinese knowledge accumulation and the student’s ability of text reading.In this case, the writer thinks Su du Teaching is a good method for reading teaching. I talked about the source of Su du, the development of Su du, theoretical basis and Su du practice in Primary school and Middle school. In the phase of primary school teaching practice of Su du reading, I pay more attention to Chen Qin’s teaching methods. In the middle school teaching practice of Su du reading, I pay more attention to Deng Tong’s methods. So, the paper contains four parts. The first part is Source of Su du and some concepts about Su du. The second part is Su du teaching background and the theoretical basis, The third part is Su du practice in Primary school, The fourth part is Su du practice in Middle school. The author in this paper puts forward the thinking of Su du and Su du reading’s concepts. From the traditional language teaching, the new course standard of text interpretation theory, summarizing Su du reading teaching basis, and the combination of two teachers of special classification practice research, I summed up the inspiration of the Su du reading. I hope this paper could give Chinese teachers some references on reading teaching.
