As a hot topic of the curriculum and instruction domain,reading teaching has long been a significant component of Chinese teaching.Correctly revealing and handling the basic contradictions of the reading teaching is not just a matter of reading teaching’s perfection and development,it could affects students’ accumulation of Chinese knowledge,Chinese capability improvement and especially their healthy emotion,good manner and great values.First of all,based on the curriculum theories of William Doll,focusing on the contradiction between effectiveness and richness,the thesis puts forward the idea of ’self-organizing reading teaching’.At last,after reflecting ’self-organizing reading teaching’,the thesis proposes a construction strategy from three levels.There are four chapters in the thesis.Chapter one is the introduction,containing the origin,significance,object and methods of the study,definition of the main concepts such as ’curriculum’ and’reading teaching’,and the literature review of this study.Chapter two is the comment of William Doll’s postmodernism curriculum theories.It focus on the following three parts:theories foundation,reflection on the modernism curriculum and the vision of postmodernism curriculum theories.Chapter three is ’self-organizing reading teaching’.Section one is about curriculum standards and present situation of Senior Chinese reading teaching.Based on the curriculum standards,the thesis reveals the contradiction between effectiveness and richness.Section two systematically explains the characteristics,formation conditions and significance of ’Self-organizing reading teaching’.Section three explores the progression strategies and regression strategies of ’self-organizing reading teaching’ by case analysis.Chapter four is about the reflection and construction on ’self-organizing reading teaching’.Section one is the reflection on ’self-organizing reading teaching,,revealing the limitations itself and the obstacles to implementation.Section two proposes construction strategies from three levels.Based on the curriculum theories of William Doll’s,focusing the contradiction between effectiveness and richness,the thesis puts forward the ’self-organizing reading teaching’ and its construction strategies so as to ease and resolve the contradiction between effectiveness and richness,to cultivate the students’ perfect personality.
