The Small Coastal Towns’ Urbanization Quality Research Of Qingdao

Since the world has entered the new century，Scientific Outlook on Development hasbecome the main theme of the times. As the core of the scientific outlook on Development,people-oriented content become the center of gravity of all walks of life work. Practice hasproved that different countries present respective characteristics and emphasis because oftheir natural geographic, social development, urbanization, based on religious and culturalaspects of the urbanization process. But we should realize that urbanization is an objectivehistorical process of development of human society, its meaning and the basic law in thenational development is basically the same.The article aims to establishes the evaluation System from the vision of sociologywhich follows the concept of people-centered sustainable development, and fit into thesmall coastal towns’ urbanization quality research of the new era of China. Combine theobjective economic index and subjective Satisfaction Index, According to the evaluationsystem, pooled analysis of the collected statistical data, historical documents andquestionnaire data. When the small towns are contrasted with medium-sized cities, thesmall coastal towns’ urbanization level of quality is very apparent，make cetain theproblem and main influencing factors,and then we can offer inprovement advice.Section1is the introduction part of the thesis, it describes the social and historicalbackground of topics, reviews the research on domestic and foreign scholars onurbanization and the quality of cities, also an overview of research purposes, researchmethods and technologies routes, while summarize the fundamental state of the actualsurvey.Section2introduces the Urbanization Quality Evaluation System in sociologyperspective, and the study shows the importance of residents satisfaction to the quality ofurbanization. The paper contains three parts of evaluation system: design concepts anddesign principles, indicator of construction and computing method, then focus on overviewof the content and selection of objective indicators and subjective satisfaction index.Section3is the main chapter,the author provides an overview of the small coastaltowns’ urbanization quality research of Qingdao, then using the SPSS social statisticssoftware to proceed independent analysis and interactive analysis finally,we come to theconclusion that the small towns quality of urbanization is in the middle level, but thesubjective index is far below the objective index, economic and social development andliving satisfaction are serious out of joint, badly hampered the further improvement of the quality of urbanization in the small coastal towns.Section4lay great emphasis on the Promoting Strategies of the small towns quality ofurbanization，then gives some specific solutions against the various problems.Section5is the latter part，it summarizes the important results of this study, andpresent briefly the innovation point and relevant insufficient.
