Golf In Sichuan Province To Carry Out The Present Situation, Prospect And Development Countermeasure Analysis

Golf is a sport combined with exercise,leisure,health building，entertainment and social intercourse that be played under the circumstance of sunshine,greenspace and lake,which is one of the top three sports in the world,enjoys equal fame with tennisand football.In1984,Chung Shan Hot Spring Golf Club was opened in Guangdongprovince,which was the first golf club in China.Then the national sports bureau released anotification later in that year,called “Golf should first develop in Beijing,Hebei,Guangdongprovince” Therefore,golf became a official sport in China.By the end of2010,only5men registered as professional golf players in China born inSichuan.There are only4golf clubs and10golf practice fields in Sichuan right now,rankingrespectively as17and10in China.I gave introduction and analyze on golf clubs ofSichuan,Sichuan Golf Association and one and only golf magazine in Sichuan.In this paper,I pointed out the superiorities as well as inferiorities of developing golfsport in Sichuan and highlight the inferiorities elements,including be short of competent andeffective institution to coordinate all aspects of golf sport that concerned about,be restrictedby national policies on golf,be at a low position of economic level and imperfect golfenvironment.However,I feel optimistic on development of golf in Sichuan in the future,cause thepolicies released in recent years pointed out to devote major efforts to developing sports traveland sports leisure expressly,which could direct the way of golf;golf can contribute lot onecological environment,foreign investment,tourism,industries related to golf,social instructivemeaning as well as physical and mental health.Therefore,I made further research on how to improve golf in Sichuan,cause golf is still anew sport and industry under certain circumstance,there are still a lot for Government,golfclubs,education department and common people to do.
