Our Country Sports Universities Golf Training Present Situation And Countermeasure Research

With the rapid development of domestic economy and the golf’s coming back to theOlympic Games, it leads to an growing need of golf professional talents in the golf market in ourcountry. How ever, there exist great difference between the cultivated graduates and the socialneed. To this end, the author is going to make a research on the current situation of cultivation ofgolf professional students in our country to bring out some suggestions to develop the quality ofcultivation and remiss the phenomenon of golf professional talents shortage.This paper makes a survey on the talents cultivation status of14Chinese higher physicaleducation institutes’ golf talents training through literature, interviews, questionnaires,mathematical statistics and found that:1. Among these14higher physical education institutes, there are11institutes opening golfcourse. The document about canceling the direction course under major issued by NationalEducation Ministry has a great influence on schools opening golf course.2. Physical education institutes in our country just open golf course recently.3. Golf attaches to different major in different schools. But the training objective of eachschool has a high degree of similarity so that the professional features are not prominent.4. The investment of golf teaching venues and facilities in each school is widely short and thegolf teaching aids are especially scarce.5. Golf teaching faculty is weak and the teaching age structure is irrational.6. Teaching material of golf course are construction lags, which can not meet the teachingneeds and the textbooks are lack credibility.Strategies:1. Promote university-enterprise combination of the school, broaden the way to cultivatetalents.2. Through the internship in golf business practice, provide students with a good golf practicefields and multi-job experience opportunity to enhance students’ practical ability.3. Promote the construction of teaching books and update and enrich the books on time.4. Take the measures of inner cultivation and outside citation to enhance the level of staff.5. Suggest that schools should focus on golf teaching research and the construction of teachingmaterial.
