Effected by education and teaching facilities, teachers quality, schoolenvironment, family education and other factors, vocational school students’English base is quite fragile, Specific performance is lack of self-confidence,Incorrect learning attitude, poor learning method, weak learning foundation and soforth. On the other hand, the teaching mode is traditional, single and notassociated with students’ learning styles. These lead to students’ learning "bitter",the teachers’ teaching "tired". Researching on the learning styles of students,respecting for individual differences in learning styles, using matching strategy ofteaching and improving teaching effectiveness are the important ways of realizing"based on students" and " teach students in accordance with their aptitude”The study starting from the vocational high school students angle, which isseldom researched by Chinese scholars. Using the literature material method,questionnaire survey method, case study method and experience summary methodto test and analyze24classes’ students of grade one and two, who are from sixprofessionals of accounting, clothing, building, machinery, automobile, travelservices and to explore a set of vocational schools’ English teaching strategiessystem, which matches with vocational students’ learning styles and has strongoperation and the reference value. The main work and achievements are asfollows:1. Using the Solomon’s learning style questionnaire and analyzing the overallsituation, gender differences, grade differences and professional differences, toensure the vocational school students’ learning style traits of typical visualinformation input and active information processing.2. Fully considering the gender and specialty differences in my teachingclasses, aiming at the typical learning style, construct the teaching strategies frominterest stimulation, content trade-off, method selecting and organize strategyfour aspects, making the teaching design, class introduction, class activities,teaching evaluation and many other class teaching links as the main line toexplore and improve continuously.3. Finally, we explore a set of English teaching strategy, which miximproving the quality of teachers, guiding students to understand the learningstyle; reasonably organizing teaching content, respecting the differences of students’ learning style; flexibly using teaching methods, strengthening theadvantage of students learning style and carefully choosing organizationalstrategy and developing the students’ study style advantages, to match schoolstudents’ learning styles strategy.
