As the main part of Chinese Language Teaching, Reading Teaching is the State policy for the achievement of education and individual development, it serves as the meaning of developing a student’s reading ability and increasing the Chinese language accomplishment of the whole nation. The reform of complementary education promotes and inspects the research of Chinese Reading Teaching which was part of examination-oriented education system. To increase the effectiveness of Reading Teaching, to improve method of teaching, to cultivate a good habit of reading and to grasp the way of reading are those important issues that demanding prompt solution. Although it has more than ten years since the reform of education was brought up, the current situation about teaching still has some troubling issues.The resource and data of this paper is based on the teaching experience in Gongming Experimental School and the research of those students studying condition by the author, who had collected related data by following the principles of Pedagogy, Educational Psychology and research works. With the conclusion of teaching experience, the author will try to analyze the Chinese Language Teaching problems by some examples and to find out corresponding solutions about those issues, in order to supply effective solution for the further teaching.This paper will make research from two perspectives:Reading Teaching and Reading Learning. The traditional method of Reading Teaching has strongly effect on teachers’teaching which can be seen from the teaching pattern, the recognition of students’status and implementation of "Teaching Diversity". Even though, extracurricular reading, as the assistance of Reading Teaching, is ignored. Meanwhile, students are lack of reading initiative and good habits, which is against the aim of reading teaching and reading learning. In this paper, the author will sum up different solutions based on different issues. Firstly, teachers should use the teaching material and its related content to stimulate students’learning interest and aspiration to knowledge, in order to change the rigid teaching patiterns. Secondly, teachers should take the leading role of teacher and the dominant position about students in teaching into account. The habit of reflection should be paid attention by the teachers in their teaching schedule. Thirdly, teaching should be based upon detailed analyze about teaching material and teaching books, by achieving the leading role of teachers with the teaching content. Lastly, the importance of extracurricular reading has to be emphasized on teachers’ mind. The collection of reading teaching material is based on teachers actively research and analyze, in order to improve teaching effects on class. On the other side, the author will discuss the methods and ways of reading learning by students. It stresses on the relation between learning habits and learning methods which can be carried out by different education situation. With the perseverance teaching to inspire student’s learning initiative and the effective training about reading habits, the students will gather the suitable and useful way for further reading learning.
