Teaching wisdom has been a core component of teaching attainment for primary and secondary language teachers. It plays an important role in both those teachers’ professional development and students’learning and development. However, throughout most of the classroom, the language teachers’pursuit of teaching wisdom has been dormant and they are accustomed to traditional instruction acts, thus teaching wisdom becomes reclusive in practical teaching. Therefore, this thesis proposes the research questions about language teachers’teaching wisdom.The thesis consists of the following six chapters.Chapter1:Introduction. The thesis presents the reasons why select the topic of teaching wisdom from a realistic perspective, and reviews the present research at home and abroad, thus to clarify the research ideas and methods of the thesis.Chapter2:Interpretation of the teaching wisdom. In this chapter, the thesis interprets notions of’teaching wisdom’and other related concepts, and then analyzes the basic characteristics of’teaching wisdom’on the one hand and the purpose and significance of this study on the other hand.Chapter3:The theoretical basis of the teaching wisdom research. In this chapter, the thesis finds theoretical basis of teaching wisdom from perspectives of education, educational psychology, and philosophy.Chapter4:The practical exploration of language teachers’teaching wisdom. This chapter is the focus of the whole thesis. It focus on the practical exploration of language teachers’teaching wisdom, and analyzes the strategies and methods of how to improve the teachers’teaching wisdom, with the help of positive analysis from two aspects of the teaching of intelligence and wisdom.Chapter5:Examples of language teaching teacher teaching wisdom. In Chapter5, the author cites the cases of education teaching philosophy and teaching wisdom of three famous language teachers, namely, Dou Guimei, Yu Darning and Xue Fagen, in order to enlighten the majority of language teachers.Chapter6:Constructing ideology of language teaching teacher teaching wisdom. It focus on the practical exploration of language teachers’teaching wisdom, and analyzes the strategies and methods of how to improve the teachers’teaching wisdom, with the help of positive analysis from two aspects of the teaching of intelligence and wisdom. Conclusion:In this chapter, the thesis makes a conclusion that it is necessary for language teachers to do deep perception and experience of their students in order to become an excellent language teacher with teaching wisdom, and be in full love to their students.This paper discusses the studies of language teachers’teaching wisdom in both theory and practice from different aspects, which is a tentative research that needs the focus and efforts of majority of language teachers.
