The study uses the room imagination questionnaire from basic mathproficiency of Chinese primary school students to explore the characterof the primary students in Guangzhou,taking the examples of students fromthe city and country in Guangzhou.The study has some results.(1) Primary school students ’space imagination in Guangzhou area ishigher than the national average(2)The level of students in Guangzhou is better than the national level.(3)The ability is related with the environment. The students from thecities are better than those from the rural.(4)The score does not have the gender difference,and the third gradeis the key year of the development of room immagination.(5)The time they live in Guangzhou is not related with the ability ofroom immagination.(6)Parents’ expectations have an effect on the students.(7)The academic performance of primary school students is related withtheir development.(8)The attitude towards the classdes is not related with the abilityof room immagination.On the basis of the above study, his study proposes some suggestionsto improve space imagination of the students.(1) Practicing the concept of educational equity to promote thedevelopment of students in the rural areas.(2) Parents should pay attention to the education of students.(3) The teachers teach the students by promoting students’ academic.(4) The teachers use the strategies by their level of space imagination.(5) Improved female pupils in mathematics education space forimagination development measures...
