"The long—range program bases on education; educational program, teachers." In the technology and information teaching atmosphere, except for owning specialized knowledge, teachers should have a command of information skills to meet the needs of teaching. Weather teachers can use information technology to teach or not have a direct influence on the good or bad teaching consequence and the development of teaching informationization. This paper analyses the state of using information for the primary and secondary school teachers in the earthquake stricken area then puts forward the training strategy for them.Teachers’ability in using information refers to they can consciously collect and select some information relevant to teaching, furthermore, taking good use of these information creatively to give a boost to teaching activities before they give lessons to students. The ability of using information is made up with general information and specialized information ability. To improve teachers’ability in using computer is the key to better the education quality.It mainly contains two kinds of knowledge that is general information and professional information. To improve teachers’ability completely in using computer is the key to better the education quality and priority to solve problem of modern education, so each educational administration departments is enforcing the reformation of information teaching.This paper studies towards these primary and secondary school teachers of "aid Sichuan" program in earthquake—stricken--area. After the earthquake, information teaching equipments get unprecedented improvement by all the aid units. In order to help teachers in earthquake stricken area to adapt to the information teaching as soon as possible, a lot of efforts are made. First, we analyzed the character of each element about information by literature review. Then, we gave an investigation for all the teachers, which showed that there were many problems to be solved. First, it is that the school leaders are so lack aware of informationization that there rarely are application plans of information system. Second, though teachers are positive in traditional information skill, subject integration needs improve. Third, the training results are not satisfactory at all and part of teachers are lack of aware for information and the information moral are not perfect. Last but not least, they are not good at modern multi---media skills, especial the using of alternate of interactive electrical white board.In order to improve their ability in using information, we collected all kinds of data by discontinuity investment visiting, conversation, class watching, and questionnaire during a year. Many efforts should be made:First, we start from educational manage department to continually enhance the build of school hard facility and subject resource date base and enlarge the train of teachers’information skills changing the traditional train ways or contents to build all kinds of mechanism for improve teachers ability. Second, we start from the teachers, to enforce their information aware and change their teaching educational concepts. What is more, let them study information theory and change teaching method to using modern condition to carry on the teaching study.
