Research Status Earthquake Reconstruction Of Schools Sunshine Sports

Abstract:In December2006, the Ministry of Education of the General Administration of Sport of China issued the decision of carrying out the national sunshine sports movement among hundreds of millions of students", which takes "health, sports, sunshine and future" for publicity slogans, further study on the important role that sports play in juveniles’moral character, intellectual development and the formation of aesthetic temperament. To investigate the theoretical and practical issue of promoting the comprehensive development of Chinese youth by means of sports and to enhance the sunshine sports movement in the national in-depth implementation.The disastrous earthquake of Wenchuan in2008caused great loss to the lives and property of the people and the economic and social development of Sichuan province. Students in earthquake stricken areas went through great changes in daily life and study, of no fixed abode, loss of family and friends, school buildings collapsed, classroom or become dangerous building, students in the simple board of the classroom, cannot maintain whole teaching activities, those all not only have been an unprecedented shock for primary and middle school’s education, but also covered students’psychological with deep shadow.Writer of this paper is in the hope of diminishing students’anxiety, helping them rebuild their confidence, motivating their passion and ambition in study and life, regaining happiness and obtaining a active and optimistic attitude towards life through sunshine sports movement. There is huge meaning in enriching the connotation of sunshine sports movement and fertilizing exterior unique culture phenomenon through developing sunshine sports movement to assist students walking out of shadows and picking up their confidence.This paper is on the case study of lately rebuilt various primary and middle school in earthquake stricken area, Mianyang city. In the process of researching mainly use literature material law, the questionnaire survey method, statistical method, logic method and comprehensive analysis method to questionnaire36primary and middle schools,850students and65teachers and interview some experts, leaders, P.E. teachers and students’parents.This paper investigates the current status of rebuilding sunshine sports movement in earthquake stricken area focusing on such aspects:situation of Mianyang after the earthquake, current status of developing sunshine sports movement in the rebuilt schools, basic information on PE teachers on primary and middle schools, present physical education learning condition of students in rebuilt schools, advantages of developing sunshine sports movement, factors influencing the development of sunshine sports movement in Mianyang’s primary and middle schools as well as approaches in detail to the development.The investigation leads to some results.1.The present fields, equipment and facilities of Mianyang’s rebuilt primary and middle schools can not meet the need of physical education.The investment to physical education should be paid more attention and increased in order to facilitate the promotion of sunshine sports movement.2.The new curriculum standard can be carried out essentially by78.5%teachers in Mianyang’s primary and middle schools but there can be seen a relatively shortage on teaching hours of physical education.3.Middle-aged teachers with lower degree occupy large proportion of faculty structure in Mianyang’s rebuilt primary and middle schools. The cultivation of young teachers should be enhanced for the sake of lacking female teachers and the small load of Sports teaching.Meanwhile,female teachers should be increased to balance the proportion of male and female teachers.4.Students of earthquake-stricken area in Mianyang can taste happiness in sports when taking part in the physical activities.It also promotes student’s interesting on physical education and leads to a higher level of participation with pleasure of sports.
