Social development and improvement of living standards greatlyimproved people’s living conditions, but the disadvantages can not be ignored. With theinvestigation, the health status of teachers is not optimistic, especially secondary schoolteachers. pharyngitis, sub-health, depression, cervical disease and varicose veins fivedisease is more prominent, representative of the teachers as intellectuals on socialinfluence significance, so the study of leisure sports of secondary school teachers has acertain value.This paper mainly employed literature, questionnaire and interview survey tosurvey Bijie region of eight cities and counties nearly a thousand secondary schoolteachers to take the stratified sampling method extracted from each of the cities andcounties in rural areas, towns, and junior middle schools, high schools and completesecondary school. Hand out1200questionnaires, recover the1077copies of therecovery was89.8%, there are923valid questionnaires, the effective rate is85.7%.Obtained through surveys and analysis conclusions:(1) The concept of leisure of secondary school teachers is not enough scientific.leisure sports consciousness is not strong enough, some teachers have known errors onleisure sports. Education departments and school leaders is not enough emphasis on theteachers to participate in leisure sports activities, leisure and sports activities organizedless.(2) Secondary school teachers, leisure static leisure activities, sports recreationactivities, supplemented by more love to participate in recreational sports activities inaddition to the part of the male teachers, most of the female teachers less involved insports recreation activities.(3) Less than20%of people (often) to participate in recreational sports, mainlybecause the teachers the concept of leisure sports is not the establishment of localleisure and sports atmosphere is not good, local social-purpose leisure activities mainlymahjong and eating out, and most teachers leisure sports is the subjective reasons suchas a better way to increase social interaction, and not participate in leisure sportsactivities pretext and other objective reasons.(4) Participation in leisure and sports activities are: walking, watching sportsevents, hiking, sports (basketball, table tennis, badminton), chess activities, jogging,brisk walking, aerobics, fitness equipment. Teachers to participate in leisure sportsactivities per week to participate in only one quarter of more than three times, eachevent time less than30minutes, about half of the instructions on the part of teachers to participate in frequency and time does not meet the standards of the sports population.(5) The lack of gym, tennis courts, badminton courts and other sports venues.Sports consumption to the consumption of in-kind, invisible consumption,supplemented and teachers to participate in recreational sports activities, no sportsconsumption of the sixth. Time, frequency, type of the physical educationteachers is much higher than non-PE teachers, full-time teachers to participate in a timeof leisure and sports activities, frequency of species was slightly higher than theteachers involved in administrative work.(8) In contrast, more secondary school teachers in rural areas more than urbansecondary school teachers to participate in recreational sports activities, the city thechoice of leisure and conditions in rural areas may choose less, plus rural schools sportsvenues idle high degree of Therefore, the spare rural secondary school teachers a greaterchoice of leisure sports activities.(9) Objective factors limiting leisure and sports activities to participate in localculture, public sports products and private sports products supply situation, thesubjective factor is the personal values and lifestyle.
