Independent Colleges Of Logistics Management System Reform

Independent college is an important part of higher education while the independentcollege logistics is an important organization which guarantees the high-quality teaching,scientific research and satisfactory living services. Started in the late nineties of the lastcentury, the independent colleges were set up in different ways—like some publicuniversities established independent colleges on their owns, some universities tied upwith the social enterprises. Independent colleges sprang up like mushroomsafterwards. At the early stage of development, the independent colleges’ logistics ismainly guaranteed by the mandatory administration from their parent organization’slogistics, the social enterprises participation and other ways. During its developingprogress, because of the complex management system, teachers and students ofdifferent logistical requirements, social enterprises’ understanding deviation towardstheir educating attribute and other factors, the logistics management and the colleges’developing requirements became incompatible. The reform process of logisticssocialization gets retarded. This paper takes this issue as the starting point to explorethe reforming problems of the logistics management system in the independentcollege and trying to find a suitable logistics management system to meet the needs ofindependent colleges’ current and future development.Based on the analysis of the universities logistics’ reforming and developingprocess, the challenges which universities logistics reform has to meet during itssocialization, the comparison between foreign colleges’ logistics management and thedomestic ones, and he fundamental state and the developing situation of someindependent colleges in China, this paper present its own opinion on the currentsituation of independent colleges’ logistics management. Through statistical analysisof the questionnaire survey on the problems and the confusion that currently exists inthe independent colleges’ logistics management, this paper put forward some practicalsuggestions for independent college logistics management system reforming from theperspective of management system and operation mechanism.In the last part, this paper fingers out the current problems existing in thelogistics of Zhijiang College of Zhejiang University of Technology (hereinafterreferred to as the Zhijiang College Logistics) after analyzing a typical management project in its logistics, put forward the acceptable suggestions to improve the logisticsmanagement of the college.
