The new curriculum infuse vigor for secondary language education, it updates the current language classroom. Since the language new curriculum implemented, both the theorists and Educators are put focus on the teaching of language classroom. As the extension and supplement of classroom teaching, language homework did not receive enough attention. In order to solve the problems of the current secondary language homework effectively, the author uses theories of education and psychology, further, puts rational thinking and research on homework design and evaluation of secondary language. The purpose of this essay is to find out an effective way about homework design and evaluation of secondary language, on the foundation of advanced theories and rules and features of Chinese language.This essay consists of three parts:Introduction, main body and Conclusion.Introduction proposes a question. Firstly, it bases on several thought-provoking News reports and current situation of secondary language homework and proposes a question about Problems analysis and Countermeasures on secondary language homework. After that, it states connotation, sort and importance of secondary language homework. Secondly, it introduces at home and abroad on the status of operations research. Finally, it discourses the purpose and significance of this essay.The main body consists of two parts. The second chapter conducts a questionnaire survey on secondary language homework between students in three schools (Yuli middle school, Shaanxi Normal University attached middle school and Suide middle school),which have significant differences in teaching conditions, teaching methods and teaching idea, and interview with individual teachers, students and parents. Then it reveals the problems of secondary language homework at present and analyzes the reason further. The third chapter firstly discusses the necessity of current secondary language homework reform and gets a conclusion that language homework reform is Imperative. Secondly, it proposes scientific and effective form, content and assessment methods of secondary language homework under the guidance of the theory of multiple intelligences, constructivism, zone of proximal development and the new curriculum ideas. Then it analyzes its feathers and importance one by one. Besides, this chapter not only elaborates theories, but also combines typical cases of domestic and foreign for supplement. So the essay will have guiding significance in theoretical and practical fields.The conclusion simply states the difficulties which are of current secondary language teaching in implementing effective homework design and evaluation method and the outlook of countermeasure in secondary language homework.The essay conducts in-depth study about design and evaluation of secondary language homework, which is in order to propose some targeted, scientific, and operational strategy for secondary language educators and lead to an attention and reflection: the traditional language homework no longer meets Chinese teaching under the guidance of the new curriculum ideas and it is not conducive to the students’ personality development and capacity enhancement. So, reform of secondary language homework is Imperative. In the time of building an open and dynamic classroom, to build a complete and scientific language homework system is very important to current Chinese education and students’all-round development especially!...
