With the implement of new curriculum reform, it has been a strategy of national education to alleviate burdens on students. Effective teaching is a significant step to achieve this goal. The history homework in high school is not only the continuation of high school history classroom,an important part of high school history teaching, but also the basic foundation of teaching feedback and teaching strategy adjustment. As a result, more attention must be focused on effective homework of history which plays an important role in high school history-teaching. In the high school history-teaching, although the curriculum, reform of teaching materials, teaching methods and ways of learning are picking up, but the homework reform is relatively lags behind.Whereas, we are still in lack of understanding both the effective homework and history homework in high school considering the examination- oriented education system. It brings a handful of problems in the design, correction and evaluation of history homework in high school.Having summarized and rethought the relevant theory of effective homework, this thesis means to analyze and investigate the design, correction and evaluation of history homework in high school, combining with the prevalent problems in this aspect. It can be divided into four parts. First and foremost,on the preface is a brief introduction of the academic background, the significance, research methods and ideas of this topic. The second part is about the relevant information of effective homework, including the introduction of theory basis of it, to lay a theory foundation. Then the third part aims to analyze the problems, causes and negative effects of them. Finally, the fourth part mainly through to the high school history curriculum standard and the analysis of the specific case, illustrates the implementation strategy of the effective homework of the senior high school history curriculum, including the design strategy and evaluation strategy of two parts.This paper puts forward the strategy to comply with the requirements of new curriculum reform, improve the quality of high school history teaching, reduce the academic burden of history curriculum on students, and make students become the study master. Hoping this article can provide a line of middle school history teachers with a beneficial reference and can improve the high school history teaching and alleviate burdens on students.
