This study originated from the author during the internship of teaching practice and observation. Activities based on the fact that the application of the approach in other disciplines to explore the application of active teaching art courses in primary schools, not only to achieve a good teaching, but also stimulate students’interest in learning the art, to enhance students’learning effect, it is good for students’physical and mental health, and life education can be effective teaching, achieve true quality education. The thesis is divided into five parts:First part:the first is the introduction, focuses on why my thesis research, background, and purpose.The second part:studies on the concept, activities, activity approach to defining, to set out the activities and development of teaching method, status of analytical method and application in other disciplines..The third part:mainly on activity method of teaching practice for the detailed introduction and analysis. The first section, the teaching method of basic content and features; section second, on the activity of teaching method of classroom implementation of the five steps and three case teaching practice analysis. In section third, the primary school art course in the activity teaching method exploration in Shenzhen City, Gongming experimental primary school the second grade as an example, on the choice of activities, activity content requirements put forward specific requirements; section fourth, on how to make good use of teaching method are proposed:the transformation of teachers’teaching concept; activities the teaching process should be situational, activity; activitymust face all student.The fourth part:mainly on the primary school art class implementation activities teaching suggestions. Through teaching practice and observation, analysis of the effect and limitation of activity teaching method. Results:the activity teaching method can stimulate students’ learning interest in the course of art, the active classroom and enrich the content of teaching; innovative thinking of students, beneficial to health of body and mind development; to a large range of improving teaching quality, comprehensive implementation of teaching objective. Limitations:the active classroom atmosphere classroom rhythm; difficult to grasp; the more time-consuming shortage.
