With continuous increasing enrollment of universities in recent years, China’shigher education has already been to a stage of popular education. The increasingnumber of students enhances the situation which the educational resources are inshort supply. Education experts and managers have shown unprecedented worriesand concerns about the cultivated qualities of undergraduates. The style of study, asthe characterization of present higher education and the connotation of universityspirit, is becoming the main problem which we focused on. This paper will discusson how to evaluate the style of study and how to construct a scientific, standardizedand operational comprehensive evaluation system on style of study, from theperspective of management, by theoretical analyses and empirical researches.It has five chapters in this paper.Chapter one is the introduction. The research background, the researchquestions and current situation of theories and practices of style of study wereintroduced first. After that, based on relevant literatures, it comments on currentstyle of study and influencing factors according to symposia and surveys. And then,it introduces the main contents and research methods.Chapter two is about some correlation theories. After briefly recommendingsome relevant theories like educational evaluation, analytic hierarchy process(AHP)and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation, it concludes and analyzes the scientificconnotation of style of sutdy.Construction of comprehensive evaluation system on style of study inuniversities is discussed in chapter three. In the first step, it proposes the definition,elements, contents and functions of comprehensive evaluation. And in the secondstep, evaluation index system is establised, and AHP is used to build a model. Atlast, fuzzy comprehensive evaluation is applied to provide judge models andmethods of calculation.Chapter four concerns about case analysis. Evaluate the style of study in auniversity through the scale of the system and observation point by some relatedexperts.In chapter five, it presents the conclusion and prospect in the future.
