Extra-curricular physical activity is an integral part of school physical education andschool sports, but also is an important channel to achieve the goals of school sports, has agreat significance in promoting the healthy growth of young students. Since reform andopening up, China’s Government has formulated and promulgated a series relating to theprotection and promotion of the regulations, policies and documents of the extra-curricularsports activities undertaken to further strengthen the legal construction of the extra-curricularsports activities, to manage the increasing institutionalization, standardization, so thatextra-curricular sports in terms of institution building, or in content and innovation have madegreat achievements. It also fully reflects the care and attention of the Government of thephysical and mental health of young students.Haidian District, a leading position in the development of the capital’s famous scientificresearch, culture, education, tourism area, the local cultural and sports undertakings, it is ascientific and cultural center in Beijing, and its superior living and learning environment forstudents to extracurricular sports activities provide a strongmaterial security. With thedeepening of China’s basic education curriculum reform, China’s primary and secondaryschool sports activities will gradually enter the normal orbit, with the social and economicdevelopment, improvement of living conditions, whether sports activities affect the healthygrowth of younga key factor.In this paper, the questionnaire survey on the Beijing junior high school extracurricularsports activities carried out to investigate, explore problems, and constructive suggestions forthe effective implementation of the Beijing and other underdeveloped areas, extra-curricularsports activities for further implementation of middle school extracurricularsports activities ofthe sports policy is to provide the intensity of the reference. Conclusions the following:(1)Through the analysis of the survey, junior high school students have improved healthawareness, the awareness level of physical exercise also has been greatly improved.(2)From the current investigation, the demonstration school teachers, and students’extracurricular sports activities to carry out the performance of higher Due to academicpressure, the student body and security issues, non-model schools part of the leadership andteachers are not paid much attention to extracurricular sports and activities carried out, despitethe great enthusiasm the students involved in extracurricular sports activities.(3)Interest in extracurricular sports activities, the involvement of peers, parents’encouragement, awareness of their own physical abilities, as well as the influence of socialenvironment is the main reason for young people to participate in physical exercise.(4)Demonstration and non-model schools junior high school students participate inextracurricular sports activities, distribution of the imbalance, mainly concentrated in theschool’s regular activities, relatively simple. Because the campus is a place of high schoolstudents live and learn, so school stadium sports for junior high school students to participatein sports activities.The survey showed that students weariness, physical education students do not want "isno longer the main problem of the current middle school physical education, focusing on how to improve the quality of extra-curricular sports activities. How extra-curricular sportsactivities or sports teaching quality, the questions focused on how to strengthen the guidance,how to improve the professional level of teachers, how to reform the teaching methods andhow to further improve the venues and facilities.
