Teachers’ information literacy is a hot issue in recent years to study theprofessional development of teachers, under the background of the information age,information technology in education is a significant impact on development ofteaching reform. How to strengthen the Chinese teachers’ information literacy in thenew curriculum reform have a tremendous role in promoting professionaldevelopment and students’ information literacy training for Chinese teachers. Thisstudy aimed to explore information literacy status of the part of The XinjiangProduction and Construction Corps, understand the status of these Chinese teachers inInformation Literacy and try to give advice on this basis and countermeasures.The introduction of this article describes the research background, origin, purposeand significance and research methods. The second part sorting out informationliteracy’s concepts and connotations from home and abroad and then discusses thecharacteristics of Chinese teachers in information literacy and the necessity. Teachingof information technology takes some promotion and development of on Chineseteaching. The third part introduces the idea of the survey, tool design, process, surveyand investigation methods. The fourth part is using data analysis software to analyzethe questionnaire results, and display the status of the objective’s Chinese teachers ininformation literacy. The fifth part of the analysis of the questionnaire results arediscussed to identify the main factors and issues that limit the development oflanguage teachers in information literacy. Part VI from the level of educationalmanagement, school support and teachers’ personal and professional developmentwere given some reference suggestions and strategies for improvement. Part VII ofthis research is reflection and pointed out the direction for further research. This studysuggests that information literacy in the development of modern society have beengradually integrated into the various fields of education, teachers ’informationliteracy development of more and more content, more and more extensive, more andmore practical significance of the Chinese teachers’ professional development obvious.Improvement of Chinese teachers in information literacy is beneficial to Chineseteachers’ professional development, deepening of the reform of the new curriculum, and improving efficiency of language teaching. Learn the Xinjiang Production andConstruction Corps Chinese teachers in information literacy to enhance thedifficulties and constraints encountered in the process, Take the necessary measuresfrom the management level of education, school support levels and teachers’ personaland professional development levels is to promote the Corps basic educationcurriculum reform, improve Corps school the only way of Chinese teachingefficiency.
