Research On The Competency Model Of The University Counselor

In the past two decades, especially since China’s accession to World TradeOrganization (WTO), China’s education at an unprecedented rate high-speeddevelopment. However, fewer studies of domestic universities political counselorcompetency model to the theory of competence as a guide, the establishment ofscientific counselors recruitment, selection and performance appraisal mechanism tohelp colleges and universities selecting the right people, colleges and universities toestablish an expert, professional counselors, colleges and universities to better achievetraining objectives.In this study, skills and overall quality of Lanzhou City University politicalcounselor of the preliminary research and empirical analysis, and attempt to provide atheoretical basis for this study for the college human resources development andorganizational structure of the optimization.The paper first outlines the competencydefinition, domestic and foreign research results, a brief introduction to the concept ofcompetence, and recalled the domestic and foreign universities and political counselorcompetency model. Analysisto determine the College Counselors of competency model structure comprises: asense of responsibility, and interpersonal communication skills, team leadership,analytical thinking, observation, and flexibility. This research competency model forGansu Province, Lanzhou City College Counselors recruitment training andassessment work to provide a reference tool for test and evaluation.
