Research Of Community Work Intervenes In The Self-management Community

With the further deepening of Chinese urbanization and the flourishing of propertymanagement, the management patten of urban community is changing correspondingly.The old housing communities now have to make a hard choice between the new propertymanagement patten and the problem of left over from history in the age of socialtransformation, thus sets up the discussion about the self-management patten of the oldhousing communities.During the internship in Saiyin community, I manage to join the participatory studyof building the self-management patten, attempt to help the residents found theself-management themselves, and make it as the mission objective; developing the moderncommunity sense during the process of self-management, and make it as the processobjective. This research takes Saiyin community as research objects, bases on the socialchange theory, takes region development mode as researcher’s visual angle, combinesqualitative research and qualitative research methods. After learning the past relatedresearch, I made the systematic research design, and develop several interview, visit inhome, residents assembly and so on in my social work practice, finally, assisted theresidents form the self-management patten, held the opening ceremony of Saiyinself-management, coordinated the government agreed with the residents, formed theself-management interim procedures and proprietor convention of property managementin Saiyin community. When I close the case, I gone deep to the assessment, analysised themerits and defects in the social work practice, and discussed the problem about the socialcommunity work’s intervention in self-management housing communities to assistresidents build community participation awareness, then made suggestions.In the end, as far as I concerned, social community work is especially promising incommunity building, management and service, training the modern community awareness of residents is not only the social community works’ responsibility, but also is theiradvantage, as the result, the social community works should constantly reinforcing thetheory and practise capability to help the residents, and then achieve it greatly.
