Investigation And Research On Employment Competition Of Senior Students Majored In The TCSOL

The employment situation of the future job in line with the TCSOL major is not optimistic.The questionnaire investigation on the senior of the TCSOL of6university in Guangdongindicates the employment competition, which are relatively good comprehensive ability, mediumspecialized theoretical knowledge and practical capacity, not prominent core competition, rathergood information collecting ability without understanding the employment informationthoroughly, contradiction existing in the students’cognition and expectation of career, low ratioof the future job in line with their major and the job orientation, the basic job seeking capacity oftarget job being geared to the major is not prominent, high requirement of job selection and weakgrass-root service consciousness. The university can help students to improve employmentcompetition through reinforcing employment guidance, optimizing course setting andconstructing practice platform, and adjust the student recruitment plan. The students should get aclear understanding of themselves and the employment situation, plan and implement as early aspossible, work hard, consolidate major foundation, reinforce social practice, and improvecomprehensive quality and ability. They should also change employment intention, self-orientcorrectly, and collect employment information through different ways and understand theemployment policy thoroughly. If only through the cooperation of the society, school and student,can the employment competition of the TCSOL students be promoted in real earnestly.
