Compared with the general value, moral values have unique and rich connotation and stipulations. Moral value is a kind of special value in value field value, as one of the spiritual values; it reflects the people’s spiritual life need. Moral value consciousness is a process, in which the moral subjects are able to carry out the generation of moral value consciously and actively. Consciously ability cultivation of moral value aims to deepen people’s moral value concept, improving people’s moral value consciously ability, training complete personality and promoting moral value standard that is beneficial to the individual and social. Multi-value is a feature of today’s world. A variety of the contradiction and conflict of value not only in a certain degree has set a limit of college students’self development, but also has brought an unprecedented challenges to college moral education which no doubt will be in the crisis of moral value. As the high-quality talents, college students have formed a certain outlook on life, the world and values, and they have stronger self education consciousness of moral qualities. Abilities of moral value consciousness will not develop unless subjects practice through their own will, and it provides the possibility for this goal by the college proper consciously ability training. Through the rational analysis and evaluation to the different moral orientation and value theories, the college students can enhance their abilities of moral value in self-conscious introspection and construction. And the abilities will be conductive to make themselves into the "self-supervision" state.Based on the studies on the moral value, the moral value consciousness and the abilities of moral value consciousness at home and abroad, this article summarized the development, the achievements and the methods of these studies, and proposed the research ideas and methods. In this study, the abilities of moral value consciousness was separated from the traditional moral competence, and divided into four goals including the knowledge, feelings, intention, and do. Then it further analyzed the characteristic of the abilities of moral value consciousness, and proposed the necessity and feasibility of the abilities training of moral value consciousness. From cognizing consciously, choosing consciously, practicing consciously and constructing consciously the four levels, it studied the structure and function of intuitive capacity of moral value. On the basis of theoretical analysis, it examined the present situation of current university students’moral value education, analyzed the reasons why the college students’moral value intuitive capacity was low. Finally, through the research of the status and the function of moral value in school education, social education, family education and self-education, the article explored the effective methods to improve the abilities of moral value consciousness of contemporary university students.
