According to the influence from so many factors, the modern college students’ values have shown new features which could be thepreconditions for the following discussions on the influence which mass culture has made oncollege students’ values. The third part is to combine mass culture and college students’ values and discuss thepositive and negative effects which mass culture has made on college students’ values. Thepositive effects include that the development of mass culture has met college students’ egoneeds, provided them with more valuable reference, transformed the traditional valueorientation and promoted their self-value.
