College instructors are the main force of college student affairs, the disseminator of the Chinese Communist Party’s theoretical knowledge and Socialist Core Values System, the performer of various tasks about college students’ affairs, the first percipient of students’ change of thoughts and value orientation and the counselor of students’ study and college life. College instructors play an important role in college students’ ideological and political education and daily management. Along with the economic and social development and the unification of the globe, college students’ ideology, value orientation and habits gradually diversified. Therefore, college instructors’work will no longer limited in students’ ideological education and behavioral management, they also shoulder the new tasks of college students’ psychological health education, legal consultation, training of practical ability and plan of life career. Hence, traditional nanny working mode of instructors can’t satisfy college students’various needs anymore. Such situation require a special and professional instructor troop. College instructors’ development of specialization and professionalization helps promoting instructor’s professional quality and strengthening the whole level of college student affairs; stabilizing the troop of college instructors and ensuring the stability of college and society; enriching college students’ ideological and political education and boosting students’ all-round development; promoting the reform and innovation of the college’s internal management system, then promoting people’s harmonious and healthy development of the internal different groups in the college. This paper explores the institutional and mechanical problems of influencing college instructors’ development of specialization and professionalization from the source. It has theoretical and practical referential meaning in diversifying the theory of management and improving the construction of college instructors troop. This paper mainly adopts literature research method, experience approach, comparative method, deductive induction and so on. Starting with solving the institutional and mechanical problems, this paper reviews the process of college instructor’s development, defines the connotation of college instructors’ specialization and professionalization, analyzes the present situation and problems, compares and studies the management mode of college students’ affairs at home and abroad. It boldly raises the construction scheme of college instructors’ specialization and professionalization, which provides the development of college instructor troops with new direction.
