| MIT declared "Open Course Ware "project in2001, followed by countries around the world set off a wave of open educational resources movement. China also established china Open Resources for Education in2003, joined the open educational resources movement. In seven years, our development of open educational resources are continually refined and improved such as Exploitation, application, or management and so on. Adult education as supplement and extension of general education play an important role in all countries in the world. Use of open educational resources for our adult education service, use adult education as a platform and open educational resources as a means to increase the advantage of Self-construction of adult education, play an important social role of adult education and to promote lifelong education system in our country.This paper is divided into five chapters. Chapter one is exordium. Chapter two is the summarization. The paper separately studied on the content and features of open educational resources and adult education, and discussed main theoretical basis of the open educational resources serve the adult education. In chapter three, there are the status of OER in China and the feasibility of services for adult education. There are three facets that exploitation, application, and management to study on status of OER in China. In the development of open educational resources, open educational resources currently led by core software, information development channel.
